Call for Artists! GLOW Arts Councils Present: 4×4
GO ART! (Genesee-Orleans Regional Arts Council), ACWC (Arts Council for Wyoming County), and GVCA (Genesee Valley Council on the Arts) are asking artists of all different backgrounds- no restrictions on age, location, or talent- to donate 4×4 (4 inch by 4 inch) art pieces to help us fund our marketing efforts in 2021 and beyond.
GO ART! started the 4×4 Art Show in 2018, in part to raise marketing dollars to help raise awareness of the arts in their community. Then 2020 came and put a damper on, well, almost everything. With dollars being hard to come by, GO ART!, ACWC, and GVCA have decided to work together on their marketing efforts. As this fundraiser was partially used for marketing originally it made sense to continue it in that direction, but now including the entire GLOW region marketing efforts with 2021 marking the first annual GLOW Art Councils’ 4×4.
Artists may enter as many pieces of art as their heart desires and of any medium (2D or 3D), however they must be four inches by four inches and signed only on the back.
All artwork will be exhibited online at www.goart.org/4×4 and be for sale to the public for $20 each, which includes shipping, if applicable. ‘Pieces can also be picked up at your local arts council, because besides getting a great 4×4 piece of art, you would have the opportunity
to check out the amazing artwork their galleries have to offer
Artist info, including artist name, piece title and piece media will be listed online with the piece.
To donate a piece to the 4×4 please download and print this application to submit with your piece. All pieces are due by April 20, 2021.
Drop off your Entries at either GO ART!, 201 E. Main St., Batavia (1 pm – 4 pm on Wednesdays), Genesee Valley Council on the Arts, 4 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris (11 am – 5 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11 am – 7 pm Thursday or 11 am – 3 pm on Saturdays), Arts Council for Wyoming County, 31 S. Main St., Perry (9 am – 6 pm on Wednesdays, 11 am – 2pm Thursday – Friday or 10 am – 3 pm on Saturdays) or

All pieces must be received by April 20, 2021.
