WHAT: To celebrate the Rochester Museum & Science Center’s newest exhibit, The Changemakers: Rochester Women Who Changed the World, the Museum will be hosting a virtual book club. The club will focus on a new book every month through the end of the exhibit written by some of the women featured in The Changemakers. Each monthly meeting will be held virtually and will include an interactive book discussion and Q & A with the author.

The book club line-up includes:

  • Thursday, March 4 | 7pm: Reading Collard Green Curves: A Fat Girl’s Journey from Childhood Obesity to Healthy Living, written by Theresa Lou Bowick
  • Friday, March 26 | 6pm: Discovering Buried History: How Martha Matilda Harper’s story was brought to life, written by Jane Plitt
  • Friday, April 23 | 6pm: Reading Girls Resist! A Guide to Activism, Leadership, and Starting a Revolution, written by KaeLyn Rich
Martha Matilda Harper
