Save the Date: FLXGives is Two Weeks Away!

We’re counting down the days to November 11th & 12th. If your organization is taking part, send us the particulars and we will help promote it here.

Finger Lakes Museum to participate in FLXGives

Branchport, NY – The Finger Lakes Museum is once again participating in the FLXGives 24-hours of fundraising on November 11th and 12th. Beginning at 6pm on Thursday, November 11th, this online day of giving will raise funds to develop a natural outdoor playground at the Museum’s main campus. This expansive outdoor play area is slated to begin construction in early 2022, with a quick construction time that will allow for grand opening of the space in time for the summer season.

The community support of previous year’s FLXGives campaigns have funded tangible, impressive projects and purchases that have assisted to further the mission of the Museum – celebrating and appreciating the cultural and natural history of the region. A concrete floor in the Creekside Center barn was made possible by the 2019 campaign and the 2020 campaign funds purchased 10 youth kayaks, perfectly sized for the youngest paddling participants. A successful 2021 campaign will continue the variety of wonderful things available on campus. The $5,000 fundraising goal of FLXGives, along with county support, will cover the materials and design expertise of a local playscape architect to create a welcoming, lively space for children and families to enjoy. Support the Finger Lakes Museum’s playscape by visiting the FLXGives.org website anytime between 6pm November 11th and 6pm November 12th. For additional Museum information, visit FingerLakesMuseum.org.

PYTCo is taking part in FLXGives, a 24-hour online celebration of non-profit organizations in the Finger Lakes region. This year’s giving day will be held on November 11th from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on November 12th – a full 24 hours of giving!

You can be a part of this celebration by giving to your favorite non-profit – which we know is us 🥳 – or by helping us spread the word of PYTCo’s FLXGives campaign.

We need your help to make our campaign a success, so we’ve included a few easy ways on how you can support us below.

Our FLXGives Profile

📱Be socially (media) active. Use your social media networks by sharing our posts on Facebook or reposting our posts to your Instagram story, and be sure to tag us at @PYTCo. Tell your followers why you’re choosing to give or why you’re helping PYTCo spread the word. Ask them to share our post with their followers or to give on November 11th & 12th!

📝 Share and share-alike. Our campaign will be successful because of the current network we have built within our community. Help us grow our network and take our campaign to the next level by forwarding this email to your network and asking your friends to do the same.

💙 Become a fundraising champion. Everyone loves a champion, including us! We really need fundraising champions to help drive people to our FLXGives profile on November 11th & 12th. Email contact@pytco.org to see how you can become a fundraising champion for PYTCo.

✅ Give on November 11th & 12th. Take the time to give where your heart is! Your generous donation during FLXGives will put us one step closer to revitalizing the historic Sampson Theatre in Penn Yan and help us to continue enhancing the quality of life in our community through art.
