“These Wilds” Announcement

Click the Owl to Sponsor

Join Little Lakes Community Center, Canadice Press and MacFadden Coffee Company in welcoming and celebrating the NYS authors and artists selected for These Wilds: Owl Light Literary No. 2.  This “Voices Across Lakes” event—held at MacFadden Coffee Company, Dansville, NY—will feature readings and art from the journal’s contributors with introductions from the editors.  Art from the selected artists will be exhibited at MacFaddens through the month of August.

These Wilds, featuring written works from fourteen talented authors, as well as gorgeous artwork by two artists, is now available for advance purchase. The journal will be out in July 2025, just a couple short months away!

The selected stories, poems, and illustrations paint a picture of New York State; a line connecting us from forests to cities, through lakes and fields, memories and history alike, all brought together by one uniting feature: Wildness.
